Foreigners are eligible to open an account if they :
     have stayed in Korea less than 6 months. 
     are currently serving in the United States armed forces and/or are a part of their immediate family
     are working in diplomatic or consular offices or international organizations.

     Required to verify the real name of account holder with a valid passport.

   Allowed to open a depository account denominated in foreign currencies as follows.
