Promoting Rural Culture

While technology-based industries may be leading the national economy, Korea is in possession of a rich cultural legacy that has been recognized by UNESCO. As our ancestors survived by farming, much of that valuable heritage is based on agriculture. NACF operates the Agricultural Museum, established in November 1987 and exhibiting 4,456 relics. It serves to introduce the significance of agriculture to city dwellers and students. Classes on agricultural history and farming culture are open to the public, helping cultivate wider appreciation of Korean agriculture.
