Social Responsibility
Supporting Multicultural Families
As the number of multicultural households in rural areas increases, NACF remains committed to helping these people settle into their new homes.
Airfare support is the first of NACF’s provisions in this regard, with 837 people (218 households) receiving such assistance in 2018. This support is expected to increase, considering the rising significance of multiculturalism in society.
The Multi-cultural Women’s College was established for female immigrants to attend educational lectures and participate in cultural programs as they adjust to Korean society. A social integration
program is also in existence, offering Korean language lessons and courses on Korean culture.
